  4. 1) Make sure your monitor is set to 32 bit mode (millions),
  5.    and make sure you have a JPEG desktop picture installed.
  6.    Any of the .jpg files in /Library/Desktop Pictures/ will
  7.    work nicely.

  9. 2) Run the PhaseShift app and wait for it to quit, your desktop
  10.    should have just turned blue.  It actually patches the Finder,
  11.    yes folks, patching on X is possible 8)  BTW, don't run it
  12.    more than once, repatching your own patches can cause very
  13.    bad things to happen.

  15. 3) Run the provided demo apps to see the various animations.

  17.    Note: There is a bug with either OpenGL or the Window Server
  18.          that prevents an OpenGL context from updating correctly
  19.          if its opened underneath a window.  So be sure to close
  20.          all extra windows before running the ScreenSaver apps,
  21.          you can reopen them after its running.
