- PhaseShiftX HowTo
- =================
-
- 1) Make sure your monitor is set to 32 bit mode (millions),
- and make sure you have a JPEG desktop picture installed.
- Any of the .jpg files in /Library/Desktop Pictures/ will
- work nicely.
-
- 2) Run the PhaseShift app and wait for it to quit, your desktop
- should have just turned blue. It actually patches the Finder,
- yes folks, patching on X is possible 8) BTW, don't run it
- more than once, repatching your own patches can cause very
- bad things to happen.
-
- 3) Run the provided demo apps to see the various animations.
-
- Note: There is a bug with either OpenGL or the Window Server
- that prevents an OpenGL context from updating correctly
- if its opened underneath a window. So be sure to close
- all extra windows before running the ScreenSaver apps,
- you can reopen them after its running.
-
-
- Enjoy!
